COLLEGE ART PORTFOLIO PROGRAM

COLLEGE PORTFOLIO PREPERATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

1

SUBMIT YOUR COLLEGES

We will discuss the majors that interest you and help find the colleges that would be best for you to apply to, based on the college's acceptance rates, prestige & your student qualifications.

2

ORGANIZE TASKS

We will research each of the colleges in order to discover each of the colleges' portfolio requirements. We will then organize the projects for you based on time, priority & difficulty so that you have clearly outlined goals.

3

COMPLETE PORTFOLIO

We will guide and advise you from one project to another until you complete your portfolio. We will also help in the process of submitting the portfolio by helping to edit images for upload and will also provide a reference.

PORTFOLIO PROGRAM

Art Portfolios for college should begin several years before due. We recommend starting your college portfolio during your freshman year of high school.

ART COLLEGES OR UNIVERSITIES

Not all students are interested in attending an Art College, but most colleges do accept supplementary art portfolios. Whether your child is going to University to become a lawyer, doctor, architect or an art college to study art, an art portfolio will greatly improve their chances for entry.

Many of our students have gotten into phenomenal Colleges and Universities through out the country. In many cases they are accepted into the majority of the Colleges that they have applied to. With our experience and expertise our students have been accepted into the top art schools in the world, top universities for study in science and law, as well as top notch colleges to study architecture and engineering.

WE WILL HELP

We can help! We will research many of the colleges that you and your child are interested in and also advise them on the colleges that they should apply to. We believe in applying to a variety of colleges that have varying acceptance rates.

We will organize and guide your child so that they are ready to submit their portfolio to the colleges of their choice. We do this by researching each of the college’s portfolio requirements and setting up a timeline, so that your child can execute each of the projects required by the college in a timely manner.

Of course they will need to work extensively at home and stick to the time table that we set up.

SUPPLEMENTARY ART PORTFOLIO

Students are not always interested in becoming art majors in college, but with our help they can create a supplementary art portfolio that will vastly improve their chances in being accepted to their university of choice.

Universities are accepting supplementary art portfolios more than ever before. This is because so much can be gained and understand about the applicant just through their artwork. An art portfolio displays your child’s personality, discipline and dedication in ways that an essay is incapable of.

Students with excellent supplementary art portfolios have higher chances of acceptance because it goes beyond the norm.

Become a Doctor Physicist or Lawyer and let your artistic talents help you get there!

AP ART STUDENTS

AP Art Students are welcome in the College Portfolio Program since the program is designed to prepare the student for applying for colleges as well as tackle AP art class exams. The Portfolio Program will help AP art students build their portfolios for art related majors, art colleges, and also universities that accept supplementary art portfolios.

Art Portfolio students will have our guidance, organizational skills, and research to help them complete their AP art portfolio. Along the way they will learn new techniques, art concepts and mediums that will demonstrate their unique abilities while manifesting their ideas.

TEACH NEW TECHNIQUES AS WE GO ALONG

It can be beneficial to have a variety of mediums and artistic styles displayed in an art portfolio. Depending on the requirements of the colleges that the student applies to, we will make sure that they learn any techniques that are required by the portfolio and that the student may not be familiar with, but that could be beneficial to them.

In the process, we may discover that they succeed more at a different technique or medium. They will have every opportunity to learn more about art and the different materials of art.
